Drilcorp is pleased to announce we have appointed Steve Totty as our Health and Safety Consultant.
Steve has worked in occupational health and safety for 32 years. He is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, and a nationally registered Occupational Health and Safety
Consultant.
His full time employment has included working in both the private and public sectors before becoming an independent Consultant.
His career includes full time employment with the:
British Standards Institute as a BS OHSAS 18001 Technical Expert/Auditor
NHS Business Services Authority – National Head of Health and Safety
Mineral extraction company – open cast mining
Land and property development company
General construction and civil engineering
Road construction and major highway surfacing projects
Specialty chemical manufacturing company
Steve works directly with a diverse range of clients, from multi-national organisations through to sole traders. His clients include the NHS, GP Practices, Clinical Commissioning Groups, shop refit companies, engineering and abrication companies, design and print companies, Civil Engineering companies and a National Substance Abuse Charity.
Steve regularly delivers both in-house bespoke training courses as well as nationally approved training courses on both a local and national platform.
Steve will be working with Drilcorp to provide help with site safety inspections, accident and incident investigations and completion of any health and safety documentation, audits and updating of policies and procedures.
