On the banks of the river Itchen a new development of luxury, modern apartments is being developed with views of the city, it is an impressive waterside development.
As with any new development site investigation forms an important part of the development and Drilcorp were approached by Safelane Global to carry out some site investigation works on the new site close to the river.
Safelane Global are a leading expert in countering explosive and hazardous material both on land and in water and have carried out over 20,000 projects both in the UK and globally.
Unexploded ordinance can be buried deep underground or can lie just under the soil and pose a major threat to health and safety. If they do not explode they can still release environmental pollutants and must be made safe before any further works on site can be carried out.
DrilcorpĀ attended the site with the T44 Drilling rig and compressor to drill boreholes which were then used for UXO Testing. If you require any site investigation works on your site please contact Scott Burt on 0191 5273970.
